Corporate Portraits at More London

I was recently commissioned for a corporate photography shoot at More London, a contemporary development near Tower Bridge.  This is home to a leading global accountancy firm, and my assignment was to photograph a Partner on location in their offices. The office space is very modern, being a relatively new build, which gave me plenty of options for contemporary, environmental corporate portraits.

I had a maximum of 30 minutes available to photography my subject, so arrived early for pre-lighting, and to explore the locations available to me. The brief was to shoot a selection of relaxed environmental portraits, and as I had to work quickly, I found some areas where I could shoot using the available light. I also found a couple of interesting spaces where I wanted the subject lighting to be more directional, so set up a Lastolite Ezybox II and two Canon 600EX-RT Speedlites. Using this set up together with my Canon 5D Mark III and a ST-E3-RT transmitter meant I could control the flash output from my camera, allowing me to work quickly using lighting.

I was ready to go before the end of an interview that was taking place before the shoot, so decided to take some candid portraits during this.

The above portraits were taken using the ambient light, as were the next two photographs.

The last portrait above was taken using a combination of ambient light and the lighting described above, as were the following photographs.

You can view more examples of my work at a recent corporate portraits blog post.
