Corporate Portrait Photography at Canary Wharf

I was recently commissioned for an editorial shoot in London’s Canary Wharf. The magazine required a number of corporate portraits to be taken on location at the subject’s office.

I wanted to make the most of the location, so to start chose an area with floor to ceiling windows looking over Canada Square. I was keen to take a mix of candid  and posed portraits.  After taking a number of photographs using just natural light, I added a couple of portable lights with modifiers to light the subject and bring in the view in the background.

If you’re wondering why the football, the subject was a professional footballer in a previous life! Once I was happy with the portraits in front of the window, I used a few more areas on the same floor to add some variety.
